I was born in Youngstown Ohio, lived in Cleveland, Rocky River, Ohio. Spent 6,7,8 th and 10th grade there. Michael Stanley graduated from Rocky River High School which I was there in 86 for 10th grade. My older cousin byv7 years Rooney Horvath, took me to see MSB at Blossom theater in Cleveland. He saw them several times, he went up to the stage and handed Michael roses. Michael took them graciously. Thatt band, regardless of how BIG they made it in the music industry were as talented as any band that was at the top without question, if not better. I am a musician myself (drummer) and they just blew me away with their performance. I was 16 when I saw them. Phenomenal is all I can say. I feel honored to have been able to see MSB live. They are musical Gods that walked the earth. RIP Michael Stanlsy.

My cousin Tommy Aden was in MSB in the early years, and he was kind enough to get us backstage for this tour. Here I am, 14 years old with a backstage pass, like almost famous. With all of the food, drink, and the smell in the air that I didn't yet understand, these guys were larger than life.

Incendiary! World-class musicianship, melodies, and performance! Michael's and Kevin's harmonies are a match made in rock-n-roll heaven--the raspy baritone of Michael blended with Kevin's smooth tenor are right up there with supergroups like Fleetwood Mac and CSNY!

This was always a beautiful song, I love hearing it to this day. It reminds me of a time of a wonderful man I stupidly lost because I was stupid and never stopped loving but I just don’t know how to get back. So our lives have moved on. I just never forgot him. He like this song was the best. Someday those white lines might come our way again.

Shit, it's 37 years later and I still get stuck in between those damn lines. These guys were so underrated. Poor management and representation! Shame!

Ha ha....almost 40 years for me since my 17 year old self and several HS buddies traveled out of state to see MS at Westminster College in Pa. I didn't drive there but had to drive back in a different friends Mom's vehicle because they all got drunk and passed out. We got separated on the way back to Ohio so I just kept following signs west till I got home. Pulled into my drive at 2am, woke their asses up and said good night. One of the guys missed the entire concert cause he brought a 2 liter bottle of Coke and a bottle of Jack Daniels, mixed them in the college parking lot and proceeded to drink beyond his limitations. I still remember him sitting in his chair sleeping while the concert was blaring. My buddies out partied the college kids that night. John Hughes could have turned it into another coming of age movie. ;)
