Great kit guys just don't buy one from Hobby Town USA! It looks like this will be a fun and easy build(right up my alley)! If anyone knows where I can get a TS-46 equivalent please let me know.

I bought this kit! Basically it is OK to build a 1967 six days war M51 Isherman but@6:23Option C :A 1973 M51 in Yom Kippur war is basically wrong and not sufficient parts provided! I purchased a 'Legend'(A south Korean brand) off market resin and metal parts to add on my Tamiya M51 of 1973. Those parts including extra tool boxes,the search light mounted on the mantlet, rear luggage basket, correct IDF jerry cans..etc. By the way,lack of reseraching the IDF insignia caused their decals were wrong either.I also bought the resin kit from Verlinden of adding crews bags, boxes of ammunions for the M51 but later I decide to share it with my Kal Shot!

Thanks for the review, should be a nice build, Tamiya kits are so well engineered and like you say should full together... I think they have lost the plot a bit on there price lately as a lot of them are old kits with a few odd extras or re-boxings.. still have fun with her and looking forward to your build... best regards Pete...

You are welcome they can be expensive but I have that they are much much cheaper in Asia. I'm not sure why , currency exchange? availability? They can be had even with the higher shipping for 30-40% less from dealers in Hong Kong or China.

Nice review mate! I'm not a big sherman guy too, though I have a dragon M4A3 that I look forward to build but I know nothing about them. That's an interesting variation I will keep an eye open for that model in the future. When are you planing to build it?

I've just returned from my local hobby shop, I had it in my hands.......... I almost pulled the trigger, but it was way too steep for my pocket. Oh and yeah there is that little detail....my other builds.... I swear I have a modeling devil sitting on both my shoulders.

Typical of a Tamiya kit, well over priced. I've glad you got such a great deal on it Andy, sound like it was a fair price for that kit too. It certainly looks better then the dragon Isherman that I just finished or the m50 that Scale model Alberta did not long ago. He may have done that kit as well... I can't remember. I'll be interested in seeing come together. Have tonnes of fun with it buddy.

TacticalJackalope I'm hoping that they've realised that Tamiya kits aren't worth what they once were 30 years ago. They've long ago lost the tip of the spear to other companies with kit perfection.

Coen C Mayabe so I still really like them especially their new stuff. They are perhaps over priced at least in N. America but while we have Luckymodel I'm not going to complain.

I don't know if you remember me. But, I commented on your "Let's Build a Tank " series about 2 weeks ago. This was the first kit I built. After 40 years. The information you gave me was an incredible help. I even am in the process of converting it to a U.S. version. Next i think I'll tackle a Panzer mk 5 . Maybe a diorama as well. Thanks again ~Bill

Nice review. Thanks. I built one of these a year or so ago. It's very easy to build, but a bit basic. I think that Eduard and maybe Voyager do upgrade sets for it. Well done for getting it at a sensible price.

Personally I like basic! I like to get them done and painted and then move on to the next build!
