In Cabin Air Filter Replacement - 100 Series Land Cruiser/LX470

Howdy! In this video I describe the process needed to replace your in cabin air filters on your 100 series Land Cruiser and LX470. This is a very simple process, but is often overlooked and can improve your cabin smell if the filters are particularly dirty.

You can actually do this without removing the black plastic cover from the air bag wiring. Just rotate it and it passes through the opening.

Hi I just subscribed to your channel and i saw the video where your changed the filter i also have a 1999 Toyota land cruiser and it doesn’t have any filters and i had called the dealership of the Toyota about that and they said that the model doesn’t have any filters , do you know by any chance anything about that or perhaps some information that could help?

Do I need to replace my cabin air filter on my toyota tocama 2015 (or maybe 2014 or 2016)? it is goldish greyish green

If it has one it’s not a bad idea to replace. Pretty cheap regardless!

Useful video...if the filters are fitted lol! Gained access on my Land Cruiser 100 Amazon 2003 only to find they are not fitted!! Not on all models.

So I watched the YotaMD retrofit and it doesn't explain what to do if you don't have the panel? It's simply showing you how to retrofit the filters alone? Don't see the point in this video. It looks like I'd have to change the housing itself.

So I needed to replace the cooler #1 cover and cooler #2 access plate ( for filters ) and have them on order today 👍🏻 just need the filters and it should be straight forward 👌🏻

When you did the fipg, did you take the cover off and apply it or just apply it to the outside?

Ideally, you’d take the cover off. That way you stop the leak from “leaking”.

Just tried to install some cabin air filters on my JDM LC 100 Cygnus and they don’t fit in there… it’s really strange because everything looks the same but there isn’t enough depth to accept the filters…

Huh, that is weird! Did you order the filters by exact model and/or VIN?
