Still extremely young and to be this accomplished is very good. Most guys dont really hit their primes till low 30's like Jorge for example. Jorge started at 18 and didn't break thru till this past year or so. He's 34 at despite fighting forever is just now hitting his stride. His mentality is what he needed to match his skills. Win or lose against gastelum he's got plenty of time to develop

Its funny how everyone has written darren off because he has lost his last 2 fights , 1 to woodley who is an absolute animal and one of the best champions there has been , 2 to masvidal who is one of the most experienced fighters in the ufc and darren nearly got him , i believe the weight cutt had a lot to play with his bad knockout , and he was killing it before that, he could quite well beat kelvin i know it is a tall order but he most definitely can win , most mma fans change like the wind , he has 2 loss to excellent fighters , he can and i believe he will be back on track.

Aye till really will fight all comes. He has the self-belief required and the actual skills. Jorge is a young veteran who gas been doing this honing his striking for 15 years - 11 of those at the top level. No shame in losses to Woodley and Jorge at 26 Y/O.

Darren doesnt throw enough volume. He will get clipped as Kelvin charges forward from different angels and throws volumes of punches hard. I like both fighters but this might be his 3rd loss. BTSport need to start promoting Leon Edward's more.

He's looking huge and it is expected that he'll have more power at MW. IMO, he should've won that fight against Masvidal, but he was too overconfident and took unnecessary shots because he didnt belive he could get KOd. He dropped Masvidal within seconds. Hopefully, he's not as cocky and fights smarter this time around.

Darren is a good Lad but his not elite UFC level,he needs more time and experience,he may get hurt. The problem with Darren is that his skills are very limited and his defence is dangerously weak. I would like him to practice punches and standup then straight to Jujitsu. His groundwork and defence are just not good enough and frankly I’m seriously worried that he might get hurt. He needs time probably at least 2 years With Jujitsu and his stance and defence needs to be drastically improved,his being rushed and his coach and UFC are being totally irresponsible.Theres no way he will beat Kelvin Gastelum,his a much more experienced and well rounded fighter.
