I can't wait to see the baby that's due on January 16th!!!!! ❤❤❤ That was my momma's birthday date!!! I would be so excited and happy for a baby to arrive on her birthday, that would absolutely make my YEAR!!!! Either way I can't wait to see what kind of babies you have this next year!!!! I'm most excited for the possible buckskin / palomino baby, also Happy's as it might be a paint? Also Happy is one of my favourite mares, the other is Ginger so obviously excited for Ginger's baby, both Ginger and Freddie are gorgeous and Ethel's as it's Ginger's full sibling. A Happy baby in the future would be great too, Happy and Howie are gorgeous.

Based on her pedigree, we know she’s not homozygous black due to having a red sire and we know she’s only heterozygous for grey as she only has one grey parent. So without knowing her base color, the two can have: red, bay, or black with a 50% chance of roan and 50% chance of going grey. If Charlotte is red based, they can only have a red based foal. If either one is AA for agouti, no black based

More mini babies! My favorite foul so far has been Squirt. Especially after you picked him up, he fell asleep in your arms! I died. Of course, later, after the vets checked him up, he went complaining to his mom Karen. It was absolutely adorable: Momma, they poked me!!!! (More Katie mini voiceovers, please)

You have some beautiful mares. My youngest daughter asked me what color horse's do you have to breed to get a paint. We were given a Bay paint gelding by a friend that bought him from a friend that had him as a boarder. He didn't have a really good life before my friend bought him. He was pretty much put in a stall to starve to death which my friend thinks affected his growth since he is only a little over 14 hands tall but a sweetheart.

Funny gender question was mentioned in this episode. That is what I was wondering is can you tell the gender of your horse, or if you check as our animals.

You can tell the gender. But I do believe it's after a 45 day scan and not a lot of people do a scan after 45 days (due to stress on some mothers and mostly the cost) horses have a high chance of slipping a foal or reabsorbing it before 45 days, usually after 45 days the fetus is good and 80-90% of the time the foal goes full term.
