I like thinking while swimming in a communal pool. When choco killed that guy in the stairs, he looked down the hallway and saw that there was a guy staring at him so he try to shoot and during the thought process he transfered back to the stairs in case one of the enemy teammates was there. Wasn't the case so he was able to concentrate on the guy down the hallway and kill him since the dude never moved from his original peek.
