I have massive respect for Dego and Marc. Just geniuses in their own right. They are real artists, put the music before business. In a way i'm happy Tom & Jerry / 4 Hero ect. remain a hidden gem, people that want to hear it will find it for generations to come.

I'll still be listening to Two Pages in 30 years with the same awe as it had for me in 97. Musically that album made it as high as any musical creation can, fuck the music buisness. Since when has buisness ever been a good metric or arbiter of art?

Hypocrates they are both. It was all hardcore techno back in the early days of RAVE, and 4 hero were making hardcore techno rave records on reinforced records. There was not jungle, there was not drum n bass, there was not just acid house. To hide the real story of music you were actual part of it, trying to tell story build with lies is at least disgusting.

@@ΤάσοςΠισιμίσης-λ1μ I don't think Dego really gives a fuck about all that, geeze. They're all just labels that mean something to humans, it's just vibrations, frequency and timbre crafted to the will of the brain and the culture that surrounds it. Hardcore, jungle, whatever, dosn't mean shit to this man, he's intrested in music not sanctamony over a time and place. In 100 years no one will give a fuck at all, that's the truth.

@@spick1923 I give a fuck: ''4 hero'' became famous as they were a successful part and contributors of the early rave scene. Singles as ''Mr Kirk'', ''Cooking up ya brain'', etc were all hardcore techno & early breaks, years before the drum n bass genre appeared. Before drum n bass it was the original rave music. In the whole interview he just mentioned hip-hop and acid house of the 80's (before rave), and drum n bass after it, but he didn't say anything about the rave scene that made him what he is now. He just hide the real story and era of his success, and he was disrespectful over his fans in the whole interview, in my opinion. Its the same thing as if a famous rock star get interviewed, but in the whole interview doesnt mention anything about rock music, but say only his music influences before as a child, and what he is doing now.

Tony is a bit slippery hence why not many people mess with cdr, I get what you mean but D seems cool, you have a point about genres tags though, I think it's more people like Tony who push false narrative, ya man here probably just goes along with it if you know what I mean?
