@curly_jas I agree that most celebrities/influencers are liars, but Katrina lying about being half Indian is particularly harmful because she is looked to as a South Asian standard of beauty. Some Indians are absolutely fair skin and have colored eyes, but most are not. Her faking her identity inadvertently is harmful to the larger population of India, who already glorify fair skin. I also just find it annoying that even after all these years she still does not speak Hindi properly. If she had come to India, worked to establish herself in Bollywood despite being a foreign White woman and learned the language, I would have respect for her. Haalaanki usane kam se kam apane nrty mein sudhaar to kiya..
