A quirky early-90s love letter to cheap sci-fi and MTV. Not a love letter to good acting or cohesive plots though. TWITTER: / indefenceofyt

Great film, though I wonder why they kept putting the 5 foot tall reporter next to the clearly 8 foot tall sheriff. I really appreciated the fact that the alien's gameplan was completely incomprehensible, and yet, you felt he could achieve it.

The reporter to sheriff ratio was teaching you something: 5 miles = 8 kilometres. Bad Channels is an educational film.

Might just be muh fave Full Moon movie, and only because of Sykotik Sinfoney's performance of Manic Depresso. Otherwise, I think Seedpeople might be muh fave.

Bad Channels, Terrorvision and Videodrome make a good triple-feature.

Not bad! Bad Channels and Terrorvision share the same director too.

I struggled with TerrorVision, myself. It's so self-aware that it loses its charm. Bad Channels on the other hand remains charming throughout.

You must be mixing it up with the band TerrorVision, who jettisoned all charm when they sold out and went from metal to singalong pop in a few short years.

Might as well add 'Freaked' and 'Nothing but Trouble' to that list. Maybe also Street Trash and Tourist Trap.

Apparently the hole in the back of Martha Quinn's jacket is an intentional cut common to women's clothing. Now I'll never get into college.
