Sheikh Saalih Al-Fawzaan is the most knowledgeable living scolar today. Then comes Luhaidaan wish died recently and Sheikh Rabie3 who is still alive. If those 2 die, trouble will come.

@abourawaah8399 It would be more suitable to use the term senior as opposed to knowledgeable. Different scholars are specialized and knowledgeable in different fields, sciences and specialties within the Islamic sciences, so it appears to be better to describe these Mashaaykh as senior, in age, experience, as well as education. Very true point though, after they are gone, may Allah protect us from any ans all fitan. These are dark times. I ask Allah to enable us all to benefit from the Ilm that they have imparted, and to grant them upright and knowledgeable successors.

I am a layperson. I want to gain knowledge of the religion and get closer to Allah's mercy. Should I follow and listen to scholars of this religion who are the inheritors of prophets and who can bring everything they say back to the main book of this religion? Or should I follow and listen to people who just say random things, sometimes they say the truth and sometimes not? Hmmm, this is very difficult indeed. Guys help me out here. I can't decide. You know, putting everything aside, theoretically speaking if I saw Sheikh Alfawzan mock someone, even the worst disbeliever, in the way brother Hijab (may Allah guide him and us) mocks people in this video, I would most definitely lose my trust in the Sheikh. This is not the way of the people of knowledge. We must not take our knowledge from such individuals. May Allah the Almighty preserve our scholars and increase them in knowledge and patience. It is important to ask Allah to guide us and not to expect guidance to come from this sheikh or that one. Saying this as someone who lost her years learning from Sufis disguised as Sunnis... Allah guided me, alhamdulillah. This religion REALLY leaves no doubt. Before, the things I learnt from Sufis, I thought they made sense and I believed them. After I started listening to Sunni scholars - such as Sheikh Alfawzan - however, I realised they didn't make sense after all. Nothing can compare to the way of Allah.

Can you make a compilation of the Scholars he has insulted. You can take some of the videos on my ash'ari neoplatonism playlist. Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn 'Abdul-Wahhab, Al-Albaani رحمهم الله, Al-Fawzaan حفظه الله. There is also when he belittles Al-'Uthaymeen رحمه الله and Shaykh Ãal-Shaykh حفظه الله when 'Ali Dawah was saying lets take the Shamsi issue to the scholars, some years ago when Shamsi was talking to someone and 'Ali came in to help him, and Shamsi called him Ahlul Bid'ah or a deviant which lead Ali to become closer to Hijaab. Then they made some video about it, maybe in sp files. And there Ali is saying lets take the affair to the scholars and M. Hijaab belittles that they are scholars. Ali was pushed into Hijaab due to how Shamsi treated him. Anyone who finds that video, reply to this comment. May Allah ﷻ reward you.

Carefull of mufti muneer, look for Abdullah El Bukhari (way out of his league in knowladge) refuting him, it was very satisfying for me to watch. May Allah keep us steadfast upon his religion.
