They are still randomly tested for the exact same substances (the wada banned substance list). Do fans really think no usada means no testing? 😂😂😂 Usada is just an anti-doping agency, they just didn't renew their contract with them and are under contract with DFSI now (who does SEVERAL other professional sports leagues drug testing). I have no idea why fans say "no usada now" like it actually means something. All ufc fighters are still being tested on a regular basis. Did you not see Jones in the news just a few weeks ago for "threatening an agent" during a random drug test. Didn't you see Rountree just get suspended for DHEA (the same OTC substance Bobby Green popped for under USADA)? Nothing has changed but the agency collecting the samples.

Volk is respectful to everyone, yes, but I sense he truly and absolutely considers Islam an incredible fighter. This is not the first interview where he has mentioned Islam is calculating and that he is as good, if not better, than advertised. Coming from a truly elite fighter, that is exceptionally high praise. I interpret what Volk says to mean that all fighters prepare to capitalize on openings or mistakes, but with Islam there are none.
