This guide is so useful and so fucking good. I started picking up Darius in s12 and did ok, but got stuck at some point and was losing lanes that should be even or even winning lanes, even though I was building items that are good for that lane/match etc. But hearing your explanation of each matchup really really helped visualize what I should be aiming for in game and as a result I have won 18 of my past 20 games in this season, previously at was closer to ~45% wr with dar.

Great video, I started playing Darius on an alt to learn and climb with him and found myself having difficulties in matchup I thought I’d win easily, but lacking the knowledge of the why that should be *Cough* CAMILLE, but after hearing the whole strat for beating her, I feel a whole lot more aware of how to play my next lane against her. Nasus is also one I personally struggle with, once he hits 6 and puts that W on me, I kinda just fall over and die. I think me not taking Tenacity runes probably have a lot to do with it, a merc rush with tenacity rune will probably fixe it, we’ll see. I’m playing in Plat 4 on this account right now and it’s been hit or miss, I feel like I put myself in good positions in lane, but I feel aimless out of it, I watched your teamfighting video and will definitely be applying some of those tips to my next games and make sure to make a clear goal in my head as I head into teamfights. Really helpful stuff man, I’ll absorb all the knowledge I can, see what I can cook and if I fail to get the expected result, I may just book a coaching session to get some better insight, really appreciating all the Data you’re putting out there!

You should do a video on darius jungle right now its pretty op also try the ravenous jak sho build in jungle maybe? i have been playing darius jungle a lot and its so insanely good 3:15 clear, you can pretty much always kill the jungler on scuttle fight and taking objectives is a piece of cake also ganks are really good because you can just walk behind them or ghost auto w q e auto auto and kill them

Most of gps lane dmg is actually his passive so you gotta be carefull and pay attention. When he tries to aa you with passive and he has no barrels left to reset it he is a free kill with e ghost

This is an amazing guide and i thank you so much for all the Darius videos you have done. they are greatly improving my gameplay this season. However I am at a loss for AP Varus. I even tried going for the W cheese but all it does is pop his ghost and he plays back. Even one kill lets him get insane % health damage & building MR does nothing to counter it once he is 6.

I personally take Mordekaiser with ignite and after level 3 i beat Darius up. Then i have a kill advantag and just engage whenever i can. I win like 90% of the time vs Darius.

Darius is a champ that will take some getting used to so if you need sth simple to pick up then no. But he's a great teacher of a lot of aspects of the game and can be a great main if you are willing to put the time in.

Against the tanks that rhoku recommended divine against, I have found a lot of success in just building cleaver 1st and then stride or tri or whatever is necessary. Is tank darius reliable and if it is what works best that is actually competitively reliable, i heard jakshow and ravenous is the best but then the lack of attack speed? i could use LT but Conqueror is just so much better what's your opinion?

I'm surprised you didn't say anything about warden mail rush when going against Sett. In my experience it works very well (feels like cheating), and you can build it a great armor item later on.

HoB is terrible. if you want the lane cheese go for lethal tempo because at least you are not forced to take domination. There is not a single rune in that tree useful to darius

Rhoku I have a problem playing against Mundo and Shyvana in the sense of their damage is mixed, like when I die to Mundo or Shyvana (with a gank ofc) I see their damage input is like 55% magic and they have ZERO fucking AP so I don't know what to build to withstand their damage, so what should I build or do?

Personaly I would put Ornn tier or two higher. If Ornn player is smart he will go Phase Rush and you will never kill him again. I saw Makkro doing that into Darius players and I experienced it first hand and it really is annoying to face (from Darius's side).

I've found that if garen build Trinity force he destroy Darius and sett with no problems. If Darius combo. E auto w q. Garen just e q so u deny slow and follow fast with q buff, stack tf strength buff the just ignite q r and job done.

At some point someone will just chain int and proxy. It's not the worst idea to kill them with your jungler but at this point, you should be the most fed person on the map. Move and carry fights around the map. Gank mid. Invade enemy jgl. 4 man gank botlane. Etc.
