Every other video I’ve seen says to use the paddles facing the opposite way. Which is correct? Angled forward or angled back? I’ve seen that a trick is to keep the logo facing forward and that keeps the “scoop” or angle forward.

The correct way is the way he says in the video. This is the manufacturers (Body Glove) video so why do what "others" do?! Do what is instructed by the manufacturer. Besides, why would you want the scoop facing/angled forward?! This does NOT catch the water as much...it would be like swimming with your hands backwards....when you swim, your hands are cupped/angled.

I'd try both ways, this model could be different then the one you have. If not, I'd still try it both ways to see which works better.

Nice video, well made, unlike many other youtubers. Just a suggestion, the fill light coming from below puts a weird shadow above the mouth and nose. Looks a bit unnatural to see shadows in unusual places. I'm impressed with your story telling, the video scenes matches the narration very well. A very slick production, great job.

Our tandem paddle board blew up in the front tip right side. I’ve read the reviews that this has happened at least 5 others. Could it be that 15 psi is too much? Is the inside defective? I got a replacement but so paranoid to blow it up to 15 and scared it will explode again

"As you take the tip of the hose and connect it to the board, turn it counter clockwise, half of a turn, then put it into the valve and turn it back" ... Wt? That's not what is shown in the video :)

I purchased the Body Glove EZ 8’2” board. Can this board be used for stand up paddle boarding or is it strictly for surfing? Also, printed near the valve of the board it says to fill to 20psi, but the manual says not to go past 15psi. Can you confirm the correct psi amount for this board.

@@buzzikea we have had them 2 seasons now and zero issues. I forget what we set them at. Maybe 13 or 14 psi. I never redline it. I don't want to stretch them out.

What a great instructional video Luke! Our Performer 11's have been one of the best purchases we have made for water recreation! The rigidness of these boards is amazing! Being in Canada, not sure how many of these boards have been sold here but we sure get a lot of compliments and inquires as to where we got them! Just wish this video was available awhile back when we got ours as only mistake I was making was inflating the board with the valve in wrong position and then losing PSI when taking off the hose and having to pump back up. LOL.....was so frustrated until I messaged Luke and figured it out...haha Watch for my Facebook posts using #bodyglove this summer as we will be using them all over Manitoba!

We bought two of the new Performer 11 boards and they’re amazing. You simply can’t beat the quality and value, and I suspect they would give boards worth twice the cost a run for their money.
