That forehead weakspot for impalers is a life saver, I play a lot with randoms and they always ask me how I’m able to take them down so fast with a quasar cannon. I’m spreading the word as best as I can because golly are they annoying AF to deal with especially when dealing with a bunch of other shit going on(I like to play difficulty 9-10) Edit: One more thing about the red alpha warriors is that they stunlock you by attacking non-stop very quickly and paired with the mentioned speed and reach can easily melt you if you aren’t careful

The old weakspot use to be the connecting tentacles so returning players or new players that watch old videos are still shooting there. Some of the old text guide info from wiki/diversdex still shows the bumpy part as a weakpoint as well but that was changed a bit ago so hopefully this makes the rounds so people can learn the new spot.

Another great tip is they die to eagle strafing run everytime to the forehead. I have 5 strafing runs when reloaded and they come down so quick it's great

On Alpha Commanders, there is a bug (pun not intended) where they do their normal walk-and-slash behavior, but they do it at charging speed (including increased attack speed). When that glitch happens, they instantly become the most dangerous bug on the planet, as they'll two-tap you bedore you can start the dive or stim animation.

The Cookout is insanely good for bugs and ticks pretty much every box Staggers Enemies ✅ Fire DOT ✅ Deletes Shriekers ✅ Deletes Hunters ✅ Stunlocks Stalkers, and Alpha Commanders ✅ Shells individually loaded so can be constantly reloaded whilst firing continuously ✅ Solid Ammo Economy ✅ Bile spewer seeds are probably the only time I might run a crossbow or purifier. Everything else, cookout is king.

3:41 I did some rigorous testing for bug breaches on Super Helldive. TLDR: You have a window of at least 210s to hit objectives when you bait a breach. Bait breach at tactically irrelevant position -> hit objective somewhere else with no resistance (vehicle or jump pack for strategic mobility) -> bait breach at now completed objective -> move on to the next objective -> profit. Testing methodology: Drop in with the FRV, bait a breach and drive to the opposite side of the map. Maintain close contact with a different group of bugs until they call in a breach so I know for sure it's called the moment it comes off cooldown. Alt + F4 and repeat for sample size of n=30. Results: Timings were remarkably consistent with

Good luck mate. HD2 can be ridiculously good fun if you can gather a group of people who all share the same braincell. Advise you to proactively get teammates you've enjoyed playing with in your friends list and group up when you can. Having a full group of people who will actively watch each others back and keep every one fighting fit is great fun.

Explosive resistant armour passive is top tier on every front. Used to only ever use it on bots, but once you learn most bile attacks are explosive damage, it's a game changer on the bug front. Even the illuminate use nades.

Tip for dodging Chargers: it's literally as simple as running towards it as it charges, not directly head-on but at a slight angle. You don't even need to sprint, and it places you directly behind them so no drifting will let them catch you, and you'll have a clear angle to shoot out their butt.

One thing about the impaler, if you land a frag grenade under the impaler in its mouth area there's a 50/50 chance it just dies in one shot due to all the shrapnel Same thing applies for the nursing / bile spewer and all charger variants

The airburst launcher has become my favorite Impaler killer. Shooting at the ground under them works fantastic. Probably only good for squads though. Solo the airburst doesn't do enough damage to bile titans to bring. But it's great if you have a squad that has other anti-tank stuff. Airburst is great for clearing the little guys, and taking out impalers

Bugs are my favorite to fight in the game. I do runs with zero deaths on Super Helldive with this loadout: Primary: Adjudicator Secondary: Grenade Pistol or Verdict Incendiary Grenades Quasar 500KG Orbital Napalm Eagle Airstrike Then I use a light armor with extra grenades. I usually play with a team (but we split up) it’s still a great all around loadout that has gotten me through multiple missions with 0 deaths on max difficulty.

Bile spewers seem to switch into artillery mode when they plant their heads in the ground. I've seen them yeet acid globs at long range, which (while easily dodged) is pretty intense when there are many of them in range.

Top tip seems to be melee and stagger, also head shots work best on most bugs, I see the armour on the heads and assumed the bigger bugs always needed you to flank and shoot them in the rear.

Personally I am partial to the DP-40 with the 50% chance to not die when taking lethal damage. That has saved me so many times. Getting hit several times in a row by tanks and missiles but walking away.

We need more emplacement stratagems. Some ideas Laser beam emplacement. Works like laser cannon but fatter beam = more dmg also overheat quicker maybe to offset the great dmg ? Precision rail cannon emplacement. Capable of heavy hitting shots at long range with a high powered sight. Only 15 shots, significant pause between each shot but very high single target dmg. Auto cannon emplacement Just like the hmg emplacement but autocannons instead Artillery/mortar emplacement Basically make it work like the mortars in bf3 and BF4 where when aiming the minimal pops up with the visible range area and a reticle to aim your shots. Since we cant reposition with this and cannot shoot things closer than 50 meters dmg and aoe will need to be significant Plasma pulsar emplacement Think purifiers big brother Can tap fire smaller projectiles or charge up into straight up plasma bombs. Mobile turret placement vehicle. Make a truck type vehicle with a sizeable flat platform on the back where we can throw our stratagems on to then reposition, turrets, resupplys and even EATS.

Also at 15:00 minutes for stalker section it would be really cool if they used a “shedding technique” or something that explains how the stalkers appear translucent that could add a real scare factor to this enemy. Imagine a heavy unit or boss variant that has a lot more bulk but appear less and also have like a command function to summon a group of base stalkers to start hunting in its nest arena and you start shooting this variant and it calls in a group pounce and it runs off seemingly vanishing from sight so it can regenerate and as you chase it to deliver the final blow you notice it rounds the corner of a rock(Or building for city maps and as you round the corner it molts out and pounces you knocking you down leaving only the shell of it’s carapace in your place with you being pulled under the surface into the underground network they make for hit n run tactic.

I personally find Bile Titans way worse than Impalers, cause when a billion chaff are on me I can just kite away from the Impaler, but the bile titan can keep up so you get run down if you don't challenge it. I also discovered the exposed head weakpoint almost immediately on the impaler which probably helped.

@Claysthetics Sure! After rewatching, I got most of it except a minute example you gave of the Oil extraction+Elimination missions where you said it would probably be Chargers. Assuming you mean a campaign of 2 elimination/blitz and an oil, wouldn't the outcome be less likely to be chargers since elimination has the lowest chance for that but medium for bile, making the high bile chance on oil and medium on elimination a higher chance?

@@con_zur I see where I made my mistake now, because those have such a low chance of bile it helps weight it over to double chargers. I think I will dedicate a video specifically to this and change some small things so that doesn't happen again. Thank you that was valuable feedback to make the next update of it better. Vitality Enhancement is an enhancement I feel like people like a lot due to placebo effect more than anything else. All it does is make it so you're more resistnt to getting injurires, IE: The boxes at the bottom for crippled limbs or chest bleeding that you take a stim to fix. It doesn't actually give you more health but a lot of divers seem to think it does, and I don't know where that idea came from. It's not bad mind you, but I keep seeing divers making it their #2 priority pick over something like Experimental Infusion or Stamina.
