Geelong fan here; I absolutely love Mcrae as a coach. It's obvious that he has strong understanding of emotional intelligence and it's probably the fundamental reason why Collingwood seems to have such a strong social connection within their group.

Ollie Henry would have been a 2023 premiership player. He will now need to endure a Geelong 10 year rebuild that will see minimal to no finals impact. A bad decision to transfer to the cats.

McRae has coached these guys to play in the way that made me fall in love with this club, the games of Heath Shaws, the Leon Davises, the Dale Thomases and the Dane Swans, what made me love this club was the persistence, the resilience, the perseverance, the grit, the ruthlessness, the constant will to win, the never say die mentality, I never saw any of that under Buckley, he sent the guys into their shells, McRae brought them out

are you fucking serious? Multiple Geelong players checked to see if Howe was ok. Meanwhile the club who says "shame on anyone that booed a champion" booed Joel in his lap of honour. Remember when they cried about Ginnivan's mental health and then procede to promote the abuse of Ollie Henry, even through social media? And what about Collingwood when they planned to deck Ollie Henry as McRae described in the interview? Don't you collingwood fans think that decking Ollie Henry once was enough, such as when he was bumped from behind at quarter time?

Love the way he coaches....but wasn't impressed with his attitude towards the booing of Horne-Francis. North fans can boo HF all they like, they have the right to. Collingwood fans do not.....and McRae's attitude, when asked after the game, that the fans pay their money to attend so they can do what they like, is wrong. With that logic, the incessant booing of Adam Goodes was fine because people had paid their money? That's just complete bullshit.
