This looks SO promising and I love how you kept it simple with a focus on functionality. I’m looking forward to the full kit! If you develop a matching carbon elbow and airbox lid with proven gains, you will have yourself a winning product. I know the oem bmw airbox is already a good design, but if you made a carbon version it would set yourself apart from the competition 👊

Great video. I feared changing the size of the plenum would lose power on the bottom end but this is very impressive. Do you guys have your own elbow and filter? Is this compatible with other elbows and filters?

Our plenum works with every intake that works with the OEM plenum. As for designing our own - we tested a lot of elbows that are on the market and despite the claims we didn't find satisfactory results pre-remap. Pre-remap you can find out if the item is actually allowing the engine to breathe better and how it changes the curve - post remap results were of not much interest. So we 3d scanned the OEM elbow, 3d designed and flow-tested our own design and are working on a carbon elbow which will come out ~ end of the year. It will be using the OEM filter which we found to be really good. If people want to upgrade the filter there are multiple options like KN, BMC, ITG etc. We will post realistic results pre and post remap of it like we have done so far with all our parts. Plenum adopters will get a discount on the elbow as well.

So there is a torque increase at 3100rpm and a 4hp increase at the top end… But, is there a hp loss on the low end or a torque loss at the top end?

Torque & HP is lost in middle according to their dyno graph. I think BMW balanced the S65 engine perfectly in stock form.
