@Heart Connected Everyone seems to have a different opinion on when their downfall started. Some of the oldschool fans say Clayman is where it started. Yea..Clayman. I say no way to that. Most people say Reroute to Remain, because they simplified their riffs and added a lot more synth. Then there are those who say Come Clarity was where it began, to which I also disagree. Come Clarity was just a continuation of the same sound they displayed on Reroute, and Soundtrack with a few additional clean vocals. A Sense of Purpose is where I think the downfall truly began. That's where they really started stripping away the overall heaviness from their sound. The Whoracle/Colony/Clayman era will always be "prime" In Flames for me.

@@Metal4Life56 I fully agree with you here, Clayman is my personal favorite In Flames album, and also in my opinion the heaviest. I love ASOP but that's when they started having really flat metal core tone. I do enjoy newer In Flames (except for the Clayman rerecordings) also I love Come Clarity.
