STYE was such a fucking album it was unreal, every single track was utter gold, yet so many hated on it.

Lows like a muscle car all shiny and sitting low, revving, normal but warm mids, and treble like the waves on a rocky shore. Pretty flowery words but it's honestly one of my favorite guitar tones ever, I grew up with this album and am inspired by it all the time. The drums aren't mixed half bad either.

Man this entire album after ALL THESE DAMN YEARS is still one of their BEST..I was playing THIS whole album on repeat at 16 years young back in high school during our Friday Night Fights me and my buddies used to hold in a friend's backyard! I went 7 - 0 the entire time listening to tracks like this that turned me into an animal lol.. In Flames just does something to me inside.. Even today at 36 years old! I still get pumped right the f*ck up!

I always hated how STYE got so much shit from people, the whole album was gold, probably one of the best metal albums ever recorded. I love their early stuff, Clayman was huge, but STYE was such a high, it's in my top 10 albums of all time, a dessert island disc.
