I noticed you briefly mentioned that you put on oil before the flight, but I thought it's important to note that THE most important thing you can do in your airplane skincare routine is prep!! Prep your face before you even get on the flight with lots and lots of hydration and something like an oil to "trap" all that hydration in so the air on the plane doesn't suck it all out and then reapply hydration during the flight as well! And you shouldn't finish your routine with a facial spray since most of them are water based (don't know about the Omorovicza one though) and it makes the air (especially on a plane) suck all the water aka moisture out of your skin. I learned all this from Susan Yara here on KZbin btw, she's great for in-depth skincare videos!

Hi Jamie I have a charity I’d love you to talk about. It’s a UK based charity but I’d love you to talk about them because a lot of influencers could help in such a simple way and you’re channel is amazing as it raises awareness of what people could do. The charity is called ‘Look good feel better’. LGFB uses makeup donated by brands to put together goodie bags that are used to teach woman affected by cancer and going through chemotherapy to be taught by volunteer professional makeup artists how to apply makeup to help themselves look good and feel more confident at a time when they feel the least feminine. The courses are 1 day and last 3-4 hours. Many of the woman have suffered complete hair loss of head, eyebrows and eyelashes. They can also have suffered weight gain through steroids to prevent tumours from growing and weight loss due to loss of appetite through treatment. These women are so far from themselves and the psychological implications of these changes can be devastating. I know this as I was one of these women once. Not only did LGFB help me to feel better about myself in my day to day life but it also allowed me to meet other women who were suffering the same illness as I was. This support system is invaluable and I don’t know how I would have dealt with cancer without it. Influences and KZbinrs can help a small charity is such a big way but donating the gifted makeup products that they don’t use. So much makeup gets thrown away or casts to one side in the world of social media but that makeup could go such a long way in the hands of someone who needs it. I do not work for ‘Look good feel better’ I’m just someone who benefitted greatly from it and would love to help them in any way I can so am asking if you could give them a shout out in one of your video’s Thanks, Amber xxxxx

I used to work in the Oncology unit at my local hospital, and the ladies that came to do the LGFB most of whom were beauty consultants from the local department stores, were a godsend to the patients having chemo. They came out of the make-up sessions feeling really relaxed and much more positive than when they went in.

I looove seeing what people have as their carry on essentials. I always look mental sitting in economy with my face masks on hahah but one thing i would say is make sure you use an SPF on your flight before it gets light again in the morning as the UV rays are way more intense when you are higher up! Especially if your sheet mask that contains retinol

you dehydrate your skin when you wear sheet masks on planes, theyre designed to rehydrate (humectants) but as theres no moisture in the cabin, you end up drawing water from your own skin. humectants can pull up to a thousand times their own weight, so its not a small amount theyre able to move. doing your skincare routine before and after is going to be a lot more successful at actually helping your skin.

Hi, as airline crew, just to note. Frequent air travel can actually cause your gums to receed and I know you travel a lot, so brushing your teeth may not be the best thing for you. We (crew) use either breath freshening spray, chewing gum or the Crest breath strips you can buy anywhere in the states xxx
