So helpful tips: you have to have quick access to your laptop/ipad, because they usually require it to go through the scanning thing at security in a separate tray, and it's a good idea to have your boarding pass and passport easily accessible as well, even once you're through the gate, because they usually want to see your boarding pass as you enter the plane as well.

How you can travel without a book is beyond me! I always have a book and then possibly a book I've bought at the airport and my kindle with me! I hate not having something to read while travelling because I feel like it's a great excuse to read pretty much all of it and not feel ashamed!

I am going to Orlando Florida in April for the cheer and dance world championship and this has made me way more relaxes! I have a phobia of planes and the last time I went on one I was 6! Knowing now that's to have something that makes you feel relaxed and cosy has defiantly lifted a weight off my shoulders! I live in Wales so I too will be having a 8 hour flight too! Very helpful video Zoe! I've been recently in a 9 hours flight and it was way better than I expected (considering I suffer from a panic disorder and I was pretty terrified). I think handy wipes, lip balm and any moisturizer is key to enjoy such a long flight. Also something I would recommend is to pack a clean clothing change (specially underwear) in case your luggage gets lost. Also found surprisingly cool that the variety of content in the little screens was way wider than I expected! I ended up not using most of the things I had packed to keep me entertained xD

This really helped me, thank you!! We go to America a lot to visit friends and I hate flying. I get anxious like you but I also get travel sick and spend most the time over a bag, which is horrible! This is so so useful! I only bought a travel pillow last year and it's made such a difference, it makes flying so much more comfortable:) The only thing I will say it please please be considerate with perfumes/scents and try not to overload. As someone that suffers with travel sickness, any strong smells makes it so much worse and I really wish people wouldn't use perfume/aftershave on flights. Roll on deodorants like you said are a much better idea☺️
