I think it is better that they have ended that way, Warren is not the man he ought to be. He just can’t decide for himself. He cant just decide who, and when he did decide and got rejected, he still does not want to be left with nothing. Maybe if he had broken up with John before they saw each other again, and showed Mark that he really is serious, maybe they would’ve ended up together. They started dirty, how can we know that it will not be the same?

This movie is my most recent jewel. I've seen it three times already; it became one of my top 3. A masterpiece full of details: from the cast (those two Alex 💘), til the music, script, photography... Mark&Warren deserve another chance, I know I speak for many!

That's not how life works though. I think the beauty of the movie is it plays like real life. They had a relationship in secret, set in the darkness. There was no way that could become something different, because if they got together afterwards, Mark would always be wondering if Warren would do the same thing to him. The beauty of the movie is Mark moving on from a stagnant relationship with Richard that was going nowhere and was losing its love. He then also moved on from Warren, who got off to the philandering and secretiveness.

Totally absorbing , so well acted with a realistic script,unique for illuminating the shadows of sportsmen with a refreshing gay angle. The cast in the movie are strong characters providing the template for the AKAL combo to shine and superbly educate the viewer of how a LGBTQ individual could retain self respect. … to expand their boundaries emotionally and to be humbled in love just like the rest of humankind does daily . This love drama demonstrates how much we , in the world , are very much a part of one human race. Dev from Trinidad !

What I liked most about the film is that rugby has always been identified as a violent and male chauvinist sport and to see that the main players & characters are gay really caught my attention because it breaks a stereotype of rugby and other sports with the same characteristics.

I keep searching for why the hell Warren and John are still together and couldn't find a single explanation. Could get why faint-hearted Mark is not ready to take another adventure with Warren (though just find him too melodramatic) but after everything including the last scene in the Referee room, they are still together??????????

Una de las mejores películas, por no decir la mejor, que he visto. Me he enamorado, ilusionado, reido, entretenido, llorado, etc.etc. los actores geniales, gran interpretación, lamentablemente no tuvo un final esperado por la linda pareja que hacen Mark & Warren. Por favor más películas así, en verdad ya cansa las películas de temática gay con adolescentes. Las edades de los actores en esta película es perfecto, me sentí varias veces identificado con algunas escenas. La recomiendo 100% no se van a arrepentir. Saludos desde Lima, Perú.

Mark decided to begin again. Mark thought he could start again with Richard as he's surprisingly there to watch him for the first time ever. However, after Richard says that they're not going back together, maybe he needs some time, so he also rejects Warren's love confession. And now he's on his own, and it ends with him and another player having male gaze.
