Crazy how drug dealers and robbers get more time in prison 🤦🏼‍♀️ our country and law is fucked up. Why is the law so tolerant to pedos, and rapists? I’ve been warned multiple times for calling out and posting openly about nonces and rapists in my area and told I couldn’t speak on it. These disgusting dirty nonces get to change there names, get put in safe houses, gets more rights than people who abide by the law 😡 makes me sick. 12 YEARS? He needs life

Sure he was handed a life sentence with a MINIMUM of 12 years. That doesn't mean he'll be let out after that. He has to go through a parole board and they have the final say on whether he's freed or not. Plus if he does get out, he'll be on licence for the rest of his life, meaning he can be recalled for something as menial as littering. Plus he'll be on the s3x offenders register with other restrictions imposed on him such as Internet usage and being around children and of course getting a job (probation will force him to disclose even if he's not asked) so life for him is pretty much over.

So, I'm an American. It is not for me to judge the laws, precedents or sentences Crown sentences in UK courts. That is a matter for UK citizens to judge and cope with. We have enough on our plate handling our own 'high crimes and misdemeanors' lately. I will say that Edwards' behavior is reprehensible and he fully deserves his time in prison. I don't imagine that being a child molester in a UK prison is any more fun than being one in a US prison. If I recall correctly, the UK's most famous child predator, Richard Huckle, didn't last long in the joint. With any kind of luck, Lewis Edwards will afforded the same treatment.
