The only part of this movie that made me scratch my head was... They know where the nukes are as the silo doors opened, their not armed yet, and haven't exactly launched yet. ... So why did the movie do a dramatic pause, when they were just going to destroy the building anyway?? The way I see it is that they didn't strike the building yet because they were giving Harp the chance to manually disable the nuke, but then the countdown started, giving them 5 minutes. I also think thats why they waited to drop the strike, is because they wanted to give Harp as much time as possible to get out of the silo.

The difference is that the Russian army have the most powerful electronic warfare system which can suppress, drones and UAV's, they also already use AI in said electronic warfare , air defense systems and drones to some extent, the only issue is that such weapons cannot be fully domestically be produced and massive investments will be needed to rectify such a problem, the US also possess such capabilities but with a 33 trillion debt with 5% interest rate additionally with nearly a trillion dollars in annual budget, more focus on maintaining weapons then improving new ones, meaning that a collapse of the dollar would be more than enough to eliminate US as a superpower,other countries which would be still be using the dollar would face a financial crisis

As the truck had not been positively identified as a lawful combatant, destroying the truck that could be a civilian constitutes a possible war crime to be investigated. In real life on the other side of the spectrum, It is the same situation that the Russian infantry on the BMP roadblock faced in west Bucha when they had less than 3 seconds to confirm whether the person that just rounded a corner on a bicycle coming straight at them had an RPG or not. Since within 3 days there had already been 2 ambushes coordinated by unlawful combatants and a full squad of Territorial Defense soldiers had already been captured and executed for illegally hiding among the civilian population in civilian attire, the Russian response in that place and time had escalated to shoot first ask questions later, just like what the drone pilot in this movie did. Unfortunately the person on a bicycle IRL turned out to be a local nurse coming home from her shift.

no since like any other bomb a nuke has to go through a proper sequence to arm and detonate (specifically for the nuke it needs it in-built explosive to set off the uranium anything else wastes it) releasing its yield otherwise wouldn't be very useful as a weapon if you could set it off by accidentally dropping it or bumping it against something hard enough

If this was based on the real world, Russia has 5,800 nukes spread over land and sea ( lots of submarine nukes ), and they have the Russian "Dead Head" automatic nuclear defense system built in the 80s by the Soviets and still maintained today. The US has similar nuclear systems so there is no way anybody is going to take over either country.
