After 9 gibson 335(6 dots and 3 custom shop), finally I've found a good 335: my heritage h 535. I'm not a gibson basher cause my favourite guitars are 2 custom shop Les Paul but they can't do a 335 anymore.

Are they playing over the “summertime”progression?
@Edomsharp92 жыл бұрын
I think the progression they are playing is Em7///|C7///|Em7///|C7////|Em7///|C7///|A7///|C7/B7/| Not Summertime, but a bluesy-jazzy thing with a similar kind of feel. Fun to solo over!

@@Edomsharp9 you got it 8 bar groove - a G#7 comes along to initiate the turnaround back to a quick C7/B7 - solos are crazy good chase that F# as the progression slides into B7 chord

Where is heritages working out of since the plant is being demo’d and how many Originals still work for them?
@sirwinston23682 жыл бұрын
The Gibson factory was sold to Heritage in 1984 (?). That's 38 years ago. Probably not many old-timers left. I wrote to Heritage in late 2021. Here is what they told me in response to my question about tours - "The tours are on hold indefinitely until a major construction project is completed. The estimated completion date is 2023. When they're back, we'd love to show you around." That doesn't exactly sound like a full demo to me. I'll bet they are still working at 225 Parsons. I was there before Gibson left. Amazing factory. jc
