UDFA David Perales DE looks like an interesting prospect with 18 sacks in two years and 40 some total tackles both years! Nice size looks like he has potential!

I know one thing I did not want Mitch to start the season but the Steelers were never gonna throw kenny right into the fire even though they should 50:11 of….it’s just their style to let the rookie watch a few games and get some game experience just watching and learning………….to many high people up in the Steelers organization would of never allowed him to start because they are scared of what if he stinks it up for 4 or 5 games then they bench him to put in Mitch…Mitch sucks it up for another 3-4 games trying to be to conservative and playing scared to lose his starting job like he did……Then your screwed because your rookie lost all his confidence and the fair weather fans would be booing him any chance they had too.

I think with that towards the Steelers mindset is like if your rookie QB plays just as good if not better than who’s gonna be your starter you play your rookie. It was an awful situation putting Kenny in on that 4 game stretch
