I agree. Do they have a "third order?" - an order for laymen or women? Didn't see anything on their website. I know that Franciscans and Missionaries of Charity and Salesians and other orders do have a lay third order. These women exude the peace of Christ and speak the truths of the faith.

And yes, I did go to confession about it. But it does not take away what happened. The situation has become somewhat complicated. Those who haven't seen loss can't appreciate the depth of the story of the Syrian war victims. I haven't gone through such loss myself, but my mother lost more babies than most modern women have pregnancies. When I told her I no longer believed in God, she was amazed (in a sad way) and said that God is what got her through her trials. I guess I was a dumb kid, but I learned eventually.

Thanks a lot Sis.Inga, this talk and the Greatest Desires of God had led me to profound reflection on why St.Liguori said, God had entrusted His Justice to Jesus after He had shown God's Unconditional Love and God had entrusted His Mercy to Mary after She Had offered Her Seven Sorrows. You quoted St.Faustina in your talk in "God Greatest Desires " as "Mercy is the flower of Love". From the Love of Jesus springs forth the Mercy of a Mother. God in Eternity has two Human Creature existed, One a God-Man His Begotten Son in His bosom and the other a Woman a beloved daughter in His Heart/Will. Our Salvation is written in the Hands of Jesus and will be completed in the Hands of Mary thru the Rosary. "Mercy is the Flower of Love". Rosary is a flower born out of Love. It is the very life of Jesus unfolded thru the flower of the Rosary. Salvation is conceived in LOVE/Jesus and revealed thru deeds of Mercy/Mary. Jesus, Mary and St.Joseph we love you save souls.Amen

Oh perhaps that is not St. John Paul behind Sister Inga..but I know it is his National Shrine that I visited not to long ago when I left Texas to come and visit my daughter who was living in D.C. (I talked her into coming back to Texas) Finally, I loved the book, "He and I" and have found so many beautiful examples of the love of Jesus for us, so to hear your quote showed me that yes, I was intended to hear your beautiful spoken lessons. I'm.not happy at all about the joke re the poor psychiatric patientin fact it really is quite shocking..I'm wondering why your priest ' friend ' went onto the patients ward at all where surely people are allowed privacy and confidentiality.Did he go for cheap kicks and entertainment or to do what he is meant to do and that Is to administer pastoral care.i doubt that by the sounds of it.If I knew his name I would make sure that he never had the opportunity to misuse patient confidentiality in that way again and then as if that's not bad enough to then pass it on to someone who thinks it's ok to take it online for a laugh.It really beggers belief .It's such a privalige to meet patients when they are so unwell ,how dare he do that to them .Its just that sort of ignorance that causes so much distress,and sometimes suicide when patients are excluded from society.Well done because you have just added to that circumstance. psychiatric professionals work so hard to counteract .such Uneducated attitudes.We all have a mental ' health and what we all need to ' humbly'' say out loud is "there but for the Grace of God go I "and it's only the very ignorant uneducated individuals of this world who abuse patients in that way ,it's indefensible .it's the ignorant that cause the stigma that patients and families have to live with.I am an RMN "Mental Health Professional /Nurse"¹ and a practising Catholic who always has and will continue to defend the vulnerable.Those desperate cheap inadequate jokes are neither intelligent or Christian,there is something very unwholesome and unhealthy about your idea of what you view as funny and there is no justification for that attitude and more sinful because it is a misuse of a platform that should be giving examples of Jesus's compassion not using ugly worldly judgements and jokes.about human beings who are unable to defend themselves against such abuse.The Catholic Church have enough problems to overcome without adding to it's already tarnished reputation..Surely the idea is to encourage people to return to the Church not to openly discriminate against those less fortunate and really put people off from returning .It surely is not too difficult to dicern that the word "Nurse "implies that there is an illness.that needs tending .Shame on you and may God forgive you and your 'friend'.i will pray for you and your' friend 'that you will have a re-examination of conscience about hurtful jokes and to stop discrediting the Catholic Church.. 🙏

Deirdre Williams you are way out of your dept here. You are attempting to preach to and give advice to a wonderful holy and inspiring nun who has given her whole life to God and you are making absolutely no sense. What we all got from your rant is that you are a psychiatric nurse and all the work you do for your patients. Big swing you are on the bread line like the rest of us. Sr Inga has given up her life and her worldly possessions for God. You will go home to your family, your car, your home carrying your pay packet like the rest of us. One would swear you are doing it for charity the way you are talking. It’s not her fault or ours if you can’t grasp where she is coming from . You just proved Sr Inga’s point. We all think we are God and you certainly proved that.You should ask God for the grace of wisdom and understanding so you can grasp what others say and mean and stop looking for attention and annoying people with this unholy talk.
