A ball isn't always "your type of ball". That been said, to keep it real you have to work on your realese to see what the conspiracy can do. Looking at your first four shots they are very different, some around the ball, on the side and throwing in front of yourself and the ball is not supposed to fix that for you. Go give it another chance and keep it real by looking at your realese.

I think a 40 degree angle is way too early for that ball. Storm products are naturally longer than Radical products. Something like a 70x3 3/4x25 would do wonders

Sometimes balls take a bit to break in. I had a dare devil danger I absolutely hated for the first 3-5 games with it because it didn't hook. After that it became pretty strong.

My suggestion, plug it and redrill it with a different layout to adjust for it's issues for it's current layout. That said, the coverstock may just not match up for her rev/speed/tilt/rotation. However, I'm pretty sure that there's a layout that would work.

We've decided to just move on this one man. Once you completely plug a ball and move everything it's going to affect the balls dynamics anyways. She will just keep throwing the balls she has for now until we decide on a new one for her! Thanks as always brother! Joe Bowler

Radical balls have always seemed to be allergic to oil and quick off the dry, to me. If you don’t want to play with the surface, then I do recommend she go to a pin down drilling. The last number in her lay out (25) will cause the ball to turn left quickly. If you want a slower reaction, that last digit needs to be higher.

Too low ball speed to hit the friction with a hybrid or pearl. Which is why she said she "Has no forgiveness" She is getting an over/under reaction and to fix that you need to use a solid ball and thats exactly what she did and why it worked.
@77Musicnut5 жыл бұрын
Appreciate the honest opinions but what is your plan for the ball? Attempt at surface changes? If she keeps it any chance at an update later? I think we've all run into a ball that at first maybe didn't react the way we thought but settled into something that worked well or totally changed. I have to admit I was interested in this particular ball, and there will be a brunswick/radical/dv8 ball demo coming up in my area so I'll check it out but; I'm definitely put off based on the review here.

We filmed this review almost two weeks ago. We wanted to be sure before we posted it that it wasn't the shot or her or anything like that. She threw it two more times once at the same center and at a different one as well. Same results. I don't think a surface change is going to do this one much good. It's just the way it rolls. It kind of lopes down the lane and never really gets into a good roll. It's weird man. Maybe we got a dud? If that's the case, that's a bigger issue than us not liking it. If you have a chance to throw one let me know what you think. I'm interested in what others that throw different brands have to say about it. Thank you! Joe Bowler

The difference in performance is in storms new SPEC technology! A lot heavier rolling and more predictable than that conspiracy. The conspiracy seemed super jerky off friction. (At least for her) and when she got it in it was just meh. I have a rack attack and it is and will always will be the only Brunswick ball I have. Brunswick balls just don’t work for me. Tried em just don’t like em. I’ve tried almost every other company and they roll ok for me. The balls that work best for me are storm hammer and roto grip. I love their equipment (mostly storm). Gotta use what gives you the best shot at winning. In my opinion, it’s an opinion... I think anything Brunswick is 💩💩💩 just constant flat tens. Joe I feel for ya man. You buy a ball and you think Itl be great. It’s advertised like it’s gunna be great but it turns out to be a 💩. Sorry you wasted your money. Thanks for the review tho 🤙🤙 much appreciated

Kratosisatreehugger I haven't personally owned a Storm ball in a long time, mostly because of how expensive they are. I normally throw balls that have been out for a while and are on clearance. Being able to drill my own I rarely pay over $75 for a ball and that's inserts and all. I throw balls from most of the major companies. I don't prefer one company over the other as I've liked balls from all of them. But after seeing the difference in these two balls, drilled the exact same way, both out of box, I may have to pay up and try and Storm ball here soon. Thank you very much! Joe Bowler

Think you are being a little too critical of this one buddy. Try some surface changes during open games, not league play. Also, for how badly she missed on those unhappy frames it wouldn’t matter what ball was in her hand. She was rolling it poorly, plain and simple. You are correct in saying it was speed sensitive, common characteristic of Radical covers, but she wasn’t playing the lane correctly on most of those misses. Favorite or not that strong of a layout was not a good match for that ball for her. Mo Pinel has a video on surface adjustments on the Radical channel, check it out. Not trying to be a hater over here. Love your channel and I tell my bowling buddies about you guys all the time. Might be a few weeks but I’ll show this video to my pro shop guy (Radical staffer) and see what he thinks. He’s like you Joe, doesn’t sugar coat a damn thing 👍

I appreciate it man! We filmed this review almost two weeks ago and we waited until she had an opportunity to use it a couple more times. She threw it again and the same house and then at another house before we posted it. Same results. I wish you guys could see this ball roll in person. We realize that she's not the most accurate bowler anymore, however, she has been bowling for a long time and understands how to make adjustments and the way a ball should roll for her. This ball just seems to lope down the lane. For the price, for your regular league bowler who only buys a couple balls a year, there are better options out there in my opinion. Maybe we got a dud? If that's the case, that's a bigger issue than us not liking it.. Thank you very much! Joe Bowler

Bowling Knightz Garage Shop that’s a bummer. I know what you mean, picking out a piece only to be disappointed definitely sucks. It happens though. My Katana Legend is a monster. Didn’t really love it out of box on my local house pattern, but when I need to get in and play away from the traffic it really shines. So hopefully one day she finds herself on a pattern that will allow her to use this one. I’m punching out the Emerald IQ in the next couple weeks.
