Mark Lanton Because they make fun of Trump? Why would that bother you?
@cityhawk4 жыл бұрын
Mark Lanton If you knew anything about the history of SNL (which I assume you don’t), you’d know from day one, they’ve always lampooned politicians starting from Chevy Chase’s Gerald Ford with his prat falls. Ford took it in stride, and actually found Chevy’s impersonation to be funny. Everyone from Reagan to Obama took their hits, and didn’t mind the jokes being made. As for Trump, he can’t see his own flaws and takes himself too seriously. If he saw the humor in his flaws, people would start to see him as a human being who can take a joke. However, Trump can’t. He is easy to fun of, because his narcissism is on full display. Narcissists can’t take a joke, and see the humor in their flaws. It’s not because the show is too liberal, it’s because of how Trump takes himself, which makes him an easy target to parody.
@cityhawk4 жыл бұрын
Mark Lanton They go after people like Trump, Huckabee-Sanders, and Miller, because they are worth lampooning. Huckabee-Sanders and Miller because because they are grade A sycophants, and Trump because he’s a narcissist. It’s their personalities that make them easy targets not their political affiliation. In comedy, you hit up, not down. If you hit down, you look callous. The ones that are in power, are always going to be the ones that will be lampooned. It sounds like you’re a conservative and it bothers you that conservatives are being made fun of. They’re not your friends or family members, so why should it bother you that they’re being made fun of?
