Yeah. They had sharp writers, performers, and they knew when to end a sketch after their jokes hit hard. They didn’t stretch for time with fillers like SNL tends to do.

I'm so glad my dad was a part of this production. He used to paint the sets for this show!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Little did he know, he was walking among comedy legends..... and my dad was legendary to begin with!

One of my favorite shows! Thanks for making this into a compilation. One thing I always noticed was that Keenan Ivory Wayans has big hands. This cast and the mad TV cast were some brilliant comedians. They are universes beyond SNL. They memorized their lines, they played their characters well, and they had brilliant writers.

We felt like we were doing it and our generation would make the dream reality. I remember when I first saw David Allen Grier’s Sidekick 1:16:19 back in the day. It took me right out. I loved it and still can’t get enough 😂😂😂. For some odd reason “Snow in LA” stuck with me forever. It was the way he delivered it! 😂 David Allen Grier, Tommy Davidson, Kelly Coffield were my favorites. Also, I still remember when Kriss Kross performed on the show. RIP Chris Kelly. Such great memories from a time that gave us Hollywood Shuffle, Robert Townsend Partners In Crime, I’m Gonna Get You Sucka, In Living Color, House Of Buggin etc.

In Living Color picked up where Saturday Night Live left off in my opinion. I looked forward to every episode and saved 'em all on VHS...it was, after all, back in the 1900's.
