R.I.P. Chuck Connors. Watched him on Branded as Jason McCord and The Yellow Rose of Texas as Jeb Hollister. Best known as Lucas McCain on The Rifleman. He never liked being called a sodbuster by the outlaws or anyone who disliked him but he kept his cool, however mess with his son he was ready for action.

I was driving home from college in Houston when the radio bulletin announced Kinison's death. I was so shocked that I flinched and scuffed the curb. He had recently performed in Houston a few days before his fatal crash.😢

This will sound crazy but had crush on Karen Carpenter. Yes, I'm old. Golden voice. Anyway, I get married to an awesome girl. Second day of our honeymoon walking in for breakfast, paper on counter says she died. I was sick and had to put on a happy face.

Amazing. He was born before the 20th century. Lived to see ir hear about the Wright Brothers, transportation was horse drawn carts, Henry Ford's Model A and Model T, the First World War, the Great Depression, WWII, Korean War, the Cold War, thr Vietnam War, man landing on the moon, supersonic airplanes, and the beginnings of personal computing and the internet, and certainly the cell phone. What a life.

When my now late Dad was trying to get his music and singing career going out on the SoCal coast, and he was appearing at a club in either LONG BEACH or SANTA BARBARA, two years before the TV SHOW- THE DEFENDERS on CBS debuted in 1960, the niteclub’s piano player was ROBERT REED. My Dad played tenor sax along with his singing, and REED I guess for a hobby, came out semi-regularly and played the 88keys.

I'm sorry abt ur friend. I loved most of these actors. Benny Hill, was a wonderful comedian. I used to watch his show. Eddie Kendricks, had a lovely falsetto voice. That was back in the day where singers really sang, without all those electronic sounds & gimics mixed in to enhance their voices. RIP to all. RIP Mary Wells!🕊🪽🕊🪽🩷
