Bobby Short was also the man who sang the jingle in those classic TV ads for Charlie! perfume. John Raitt, in addition to his successful Broadway career, was also the father of blues-rock singer-guitarist Bonnie Raitt. I had forgotten that Tigger (Paul Winchell) and Piglet (John Fiedler) died a day apart.

Thank you for that. I knew he looked familiar.

@@inmemoriam2000 Also please remember that Alzheimer's disease is never the cause of death, but complications from Alzheimer's such as pneumonia, kidney failure.., are usually the cause. Scientists now know there are a few variations of Alzheimer's that can allow one to live longer.

If I’m not mistaken he was in a commercial for the perfume,just for a moment, singing.
@ernestcruz63162 ай бұрын
@@christystewart4567 If I recall correctly, he was on camera twice in the ad, and was singing the jingle in one of them. It's easy to tell if I'm right or wrong because the commercial is here on KZbin.

Enjoyed this immensely. Life is so precious and fragile. I Just found out last week that my 93 year old mother has a very aggressive form of cancer and has been given 2 to 7 weeks to live. I'm numbed by this news but she has had a very good and long life.

Don Adams made Get Smart work better than Tom Poston would have, with his catchphrases, and antics, plus ➕ I highly doubt Agent 99 (Barbara Feldon) would have been as adoring of him as she was of Don, although Poston DID make a guest appearance in the season four episode, Shock It To Me as Dr. Erich Zharko.

15:52 This isn't possible. It's from 1974. Carson's last Tonight Show was in 1993.

@@inmemoriam2000 Firstly, Wiki says this happened in 1974. Secondly, CARSON DIDN'T DO THE TONIGHT SHOW AFTER 1993. 1994 comes after 1993.
