I pray my parents reach their 90's. Celebrity deaths don't leave an impact on me. They are not the people we always see on screen. Just a character they play. Family, now them, we know. Their true character is what we love about them. Good parents shine like the sun to us. When that sun is gone, its an emptiness that cannot be filled. Sorry for your loss. On a side note, his life is in God's hands now, and God is a God of the living, not the dead. Meaning your dad will live again.

When I was on summer break I used to watch Bob on The Price is Right. The two soaps I watched and still watch are the Young & the Restless and General Hospital. It broke my heart finding out that three actors passed away 😢 Billy Miller, Tyler Christopher, Jacklyn Zimmer 😔😔😔 Thanks for uploading, it was a beautiful tribute ❤️

I really was shocked about the deaths of Jerry springer and Roger whittaker. Two wonderful persons: Jerry who I met a long time ago and Roger. His music and his voice will live on forever! May they rest in peace! Forever in my heart!

I have read that the ancient Romans believed that a person's essence, a soul if you will believe, would be on Mt. Olympias as long as their name was remembered by the living. This tribute depressed me as i am a WWII baby and these were the faces and names I encountered in my life. I feel sorrow the sun will never shine on their faces again. I hope this tribute helps their names to be remembered.

There is an old saying that as long as one person remembers them that they are not really gone. Every year I think about the people I've known who have passed just to keep them alive in my memories.

Quite a few young people! More from 1940’s and 50’s than 30’s it seems. Seeing the ones born in the 1920’s is a bit sad. Seeing that generation leaving, along with stories and wisdom.

Heartbreaking memories of the talents that have left us in the past year. They left a huge hole in the entertainment industry, but our love and respect for them remains forever. Remember their outstanding contributions, so that their legacy lives on in the hearts of their fans. I know that this is sad news but there are still a lot of stars missing here #whodiedin2023in2024

You missed Randy Meisner (The Eagles) who died on the same day as Sinead. Also missing Gordon Lightfoot (Canadian folk singer), Gary Rossington (guitarist for Lynyrd Skynyrd), and Jeff Beck (his own band & The Yardbirds). Also, for those who know Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Tim Bachman (Canadian singer) and his brother Robbie (drummer) died as well.
