@@MrLorenzovanmatterho Did England invade Germany, starve 2 million and cause 2 more million to flee over the course of 7 years? Also England's Oppression lasted over 800 years so you do math. Then change their language, enslave them, sent the slaves over to the west indies, murdered their culture, their children etc? Because that's what England did to Ireland.

R.I.P michael Collins, being from the six counties i think Collins definitely seen the treaty as just a stepping stone and the northern brigade's new it, as he was apparently still arming them for a while and had sanctioned the hit on sir Henry Wilson. He was played, unfortunately by the Machiavellian politicians, IE david Lloyd George, Birkenhead and Éamon de valera etc.
@MarkHarrison7338 ай бұрын
He had ended his support for the IRA in Northern Ireland long before his death.
@muaythai18148 ай бұрын
@@MarkHarrison733 Nothern Ireland was only created one year roughly before his death. As far as I'm aware the Nothern brigade's where mostly in support of the treaty at the start. Collins was behind the shooting of Henry Wilson in retaliation for the Belfast pogroms that where happening to the catholic community in the new six county state.

Stop talking crap....Dev was the traitor
@MrLorenzovanmatterho2 жыл бұрын
@@seanbonella It's is absolutely true and you know it, British intelligence had to create an entire organisation, The Raid Bureau, to read them all, Sir Ormonde Winter rated Collins his number one source of information, he was the equivalent of the Enigma Machine in WW2 except he was so stupid he never stopped churning them out even after the damage they were doing was clear. Nationalists cling to the fallacy of Collins the genius because otherwise they'd have to admit it was all for nothing, it was all a lie. But you know that, don't you?
