Thanks to the librarians and for your research and presentation, Erin. Well done! The Avery exhibit was also first rate. Nice to see this contextual history after the fact. While I’ve given up hope of finding an Avery in local “antique” shops, his spirit lives on. 😊

The Milton Avery show was fantastic! As a long time resident of Windsor, Ct I have never heard a mention of the fact that Milton's family first moved to the Wilson section of Windsor in his youth. I'm going to visit the Windsor historical museum to see if they are aware of this. I'm also wondering if the school records contain any reference to him.
