I really wanted to help this person, and I gave her my heart and soul, and REALLY tried to help her heal. More than you know. But it was 110% one sided. Thankless, and then she cheated on me, and I do pray for her.

Things would be fine if he wasn’t so scared of being hurt. Everything I have done in this relationship has been to protect myself. My third party situation is over, I am focusing on myself and garnering stability so that I can be a better partner for whoever I am with. He’s so adamant about building with someone but won’t actually build. I’m not meant to take care of a man, he should be taking care of me. How can I feel safe with someone who doesn’t provide stability and security? Those are just as important as love.
