There'll probably be a live-action remake. Now that Fox belongs to Disney

I think a live action Anastasia movie could work, but it has to have Rasputin, Pooka and Bartok in it. Maybe combine both the animated and broadway version together. Like Raputin can be the main villain with Glen and Bartok on his side. But the thing I would change is that Bartok would be with Anya, Pooka, Dimitri and Vlad and will have a redemption arc. Thus the final battle will be Anya, Dimitri, Pooka and Bartok vs Rasputin and Gleb.

I LOVE how the lip movements match the song!!

If they ever do a live action remake of this film, the songs that they should put from the musical are Everything to Win and this one because it is so beautiful.
@kbraven70072 жыл бұрын
Yeah that would definitely be cool and maybe in a Crowd of Thousands before Anya goes and meets Rasputin, which he has to be in the movie along with Pooka and Bartok.

This Non-Disney princess movie is way better than actual Disney princess movies in my opinion.
@CYAN1274 жыл бұрын
I agree! But she became a Disney princess a couple years ago when Disney bought Fox.
@johnpabon75354 жыл бұрын
@@CYAN127 Disney can own the movie, but that will never make her a Disney princess. She'll always be Don Bluth's special character.
@wojciechn4934 жыл бұрын
@@johnpabon7535 She is just unofficial Disney Princess, alongside Crysta and Thumbelina. Since Disney started a deal with 20th Century Fox, Odette is now the most popular Non-Disney Princess.

Anastasia and Atlantis were mine as a child. Ticked my 5yo self when there was no princess merch with them on it 😂

Oh my god I’m crying this was so beautiful. Anastasia means so much to me because it was there in a time where I felt like I’d lost myself. Anya’s journey helped me through everything and to see the movie and musical combined was amazing. Thank you so much for this amazing video ❤️

So this song was not in the movie? I saw this on broadway and have never seen the film, but I am now intensely curious because this musical came out of nowhere for me. I'm surprised I never saw it back in the 90's
@merces07006 жыл бұрын
Lion Celica no, this song was one of the new songs they added to the musical to explain Anastasia’s journey. The original songs that are both on the movie and musical are: Rumor in St Petersburg (although in the musical they changed some things), Journey To The Past, Once Upon a December and Learn To Do It! You really have to see this movie!! I grew up watching this movie and being a huge fan of musicals, when I knew they were adapting this and seeing how amazing it turned out to be, I got very excited! Also because the songwriters and composers from the songs of the movie are the same from the musical! Which makes it seem like the songs have always existed in the movie and didn’t appear after! 😊
@merces07006 жыл бұрын
Lion Celica another thing I wanted to add is that the villain from the movie is a sort of a Magician who sold his soul in order to kill the Romanovs, however in that night of horror he missed two people, Anastasia and the grandma, but he never knew about Anastasia until the time she got out of the orphanage when she was 18! So he sings a song called In The Dark of The Night showing his enthusiasm for being able to eliminate the Romanovs of Russia once and for all! And my favourite song from the musical that just makes me gets goosebumps is actually stay, I pray you, which has some melodies from the In The Dark Of The Night! 🤯 isn’t that mind blowing? Simply because they couldn’t bring a fantasy fiction Rasputin to the musical, but the song he sang was so good that they decided to keep some melodies!! I reaaaally recommend you to see Anastasia the movie from 20th Century Fox!! It’s amazing!! (And sorry for the testaments😅) have a great day 😘

Anastasia is quickly becoming more significant to me. My mother's side of the family came from European nobility and faced the wrath of Tito when the plague of communism was sweeping through the world. Thankfully, this was Yugoslavia and not Russia, so they were spared the brutal deaths of the Romanovs. But not before their property was seized from them and they were cast out into the cold. Luckily, their educations were not wasted and they were able to be appointed to positions in the new government, albeit begrudgingly. They lived though the all-domineering and oppressive communist government until they were able to escape to the US. My grandmother is still reluctant to speak of these things, and she might even remind me a bit of the empress dowager, Anastasia's grandmother in the film. I have recently inherited the royal signet and family crest, so at least I have that. It was one of the few things that were small enough to be hidden.
