Wonderful job! Love what you've done with the front yard. A friend told me, "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time'.

It looks beautiful ❤, and you are fortunate to have neighbors that maintain their front yard in perfect condition! That house on the left , next to yours is immaculate 👍🏻curve appeal is very important is the first thing you see entering a house or passing by .

I think I have Japanese bearded irises in my rock garden up front this garden came with the house when we bought it! I have since added tulips and a few other plants to that garden! My spring garden is simple and in front of the house and my summer garden is all in back I have a back porch garden and a secret garden way in the back of the yard! Love them all! Your yards look nice they are looking pretty spiffy! Thanks for sharing Sophia! 😎👍🏽🌹

Thank you for posting these videos. I am always avoiding the weeds in my landscaping. They feel overwhelming and never ending, but these weekly tours have inspired me to get out and tend to the garden. Not in a dreaded overwhelming way, but not by not. Applying your housekeeping logic outdoors is really helping me ❤

Sophia, your gardens are looking amazing! Can't wait to see what you create in the front. Question for you. What is the large plant that looks like a spider plant? There is one next to the garage and another in the hosta area next to your deck. It's really pretty!

Looking good...FYI...Sophia put your new climbing roses into fresh soil...add a bag of good rose soil into the new hole before adding the roses give them a better growing chance...you may already know this.. either way, just a .title FYI.....

I am so concerned about that soil I was planning on putting boiling water into it and then adding the rose treatment every month and on empty until I put the new ones in.

@mygreatchallenge don't do that...over kill.... the hot water granted will kill whatever spors are there even good ones just out some dirt and add about 2 bags and your good to go...did you get your roses..?... go figure it's freezing here and my roses are blooming..

Invest in a hedge trimmer that would make shaping your shrubs so much easier. I love how grass grows where you don't want it and then it refuses to grow where you do want it. The back garden is beautiful, the front is much improved.

I have one. I ll use it on the bigger shrub. I actually prefer to do it manually.

You front and back yard are looking really good. I can't wait to see when you're all done landscaping the front. I think that you should move your two white goats down into one of the flower beds mingled in with the greenery.

Sooo relaxing!! I really enjoy these videos Sophia. Thanks so much for making them! I was wondering if the plant you trimmed to be round next to the lace hydrangea is a boxwood? Looking for something like that I can shape and keep the height controlled for in front of my house. I’d like to not block off my basement window, and I could totally see that type of plant working well. I’m not adepts at gardening, but learning as I go. Thanks so much again for the respite in a crazy day! ❤

Just a tip. To prevent your buddleias getting too tall you can cut them back to about 3 feet tall in mid autumn (fall) and back to 18" in early spring. I have a 30 foot border full of them and can maintain them at about 4-5 feet tall by doing this. Your garden is absolutely lovely btw
@mygreatchallenge

Inspiring. Curious - have you considered replacing the grass in the front garden with perennials and pollinators? We did it about 5 years ago and love it. Maybe you have too many deer?
