Yes 👍🏽 once Ive listened to Diana’s beautiful soothing voice with her incredible vocal range it’s hard to listen to other artists who have a monotone sound. I love the jazzy and creative approach by her long time friend and Composer Brandon Stone. He also sings but he sounds very different than the music he creates for her. One of my recommendations for Diana is “The Closest Soul” with a sand painting artist that displays Diana’s tough journey to become permanently adopted into her forever family. Thank you so much for supporting Diana and her original music. Sending you blessings and encouragement. 🙋🏻♀️🎼❤️🔥🙌🏽🇺🇸 (N. California 🏔️)

If you read the comments on Diana Ankudinova's videos then its obvious that many of her followers are no longer in the first flush of youth. If you are someone who has been listening to good music all your life, Diana is clearly one of the very best and owns nothing to anybody. Usually, now, when i hear new music i think "well that sounds like so-and-so" or "thingy did it better" (often i can't recall the names in real time, lol) but with Diana, she sounds like no one but herself, and I've never heard anyone who sounds better. While i certainly agree 100% that Diana's listeners are people who have mature taste in music and hear less of what passes for "music" today i have to say that her audience's age while it does include lot's of older people it also includes every age group. I can show you the numbers from the age statistics of my channel for a quick example. 3% are age 13 to 17, 25.2% are age 18 to 24, 30.5% are age 25 to 34, 18.6% are age 35 to 44, 11% are age 45 to 54, 7.4% are age 55 to 64 and finally 4.4% are age 65+ As you can see there is a nice curve from every age group that enjoys Diana's art.

One of my favorites by her is from the "Show Mask Go On" entitled "Oh' It's Not Yet Evening" kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZe3moShf9d_n5I. It's an over 300 year old folk song about a Cossack warrior who dreams of his death in an imminent battle. On Diana's face you see sadness, anxiety and pain of the soul of the Cossack warrior. One would swear she borrowed that soul to perform the song. I'm not sure how many people appreciate the emotional gasps she produces here that absolutely melt me.

👉 Close your eyes, listen, enjoy… This is pure magic! Diana's voice so soft, mystical, hypnotizing, seductive, melancholic... It transports me to another world. I want to hear this wonderful melody, these profound words and Diana's velvety voice on an endless loop. ❤❤❤ Music - Brandon Stone Poems - Marina Tsvetaeva Arrangement - Brandon Stone * The Russian writer Marina Tswetaeva (Tswetaeva means Flower)(* 1892 Moscow - † 1941 in Yelabuga) is one of the most important poets in world literature and was born in Moscow in 1892 into an upper-class, wealthy family. A carefree youth came to an abrupt end with the death of her mother (1910) and the outbreak of revolution and civil war (1917-1922). She was unprepared for the world outside. Her assets will be confiscated as “non-work income.” In 1912 she married Sergei Efron; They had two daughters and later a son. Efron fighted against the Bolschewiki, and Tsvetaeva was separated from him during the Civil War. Marina Tsvetaeva was a woman with excessive passions, born into a world that had completely lost the measure of humanity and so her life had to end tragically. There are many evil depths in Tsvetaeva's life that stem from her pathological narcissistic personality. They don't really fit into the image of the romantic poet, the sensual lines of her poems. Even her most loyal friends were often deeply shocked by her behavior, and fans of her poetry still are today. Despite all the adverse living conditions, everything she ever wanted to do was write. During the period of hunger, she gave her daughters to a children's home out of necessity, She gave her daughters to a children's home. Her second daughter starved to death there. In her notes in German (wrote since 1913) Marina Tsvetaeva sketches her hard everyday life full of poverty, hunger, deprivation and worries. At the same time, she thinks about writing and how things begin to shine. “I see everything in my own way.” With every syllable she felt like she was leaping over space and time. Her romantic principles were the dominance of emotion, the dark and the fateful. With her language experiments she goes further than many other poets of her time. “The thought-dash has an accelerating effect - in a mysterious way.” wrotes Josef Brodsky (1940-1996, Russian-American poet and Nobel Prize winner for literature) Marina Tsvetaeva was enthusiastic about Germany, but of course during the First World War this was in complete contradiction to the anti-German sentiment in Moscow. However, her love for Germany as her “inner fatherland” (her ideal world) has nothing to do with political Germany. The enthusiasm as the land of Goethe and Kant appears often in her work. She emigrated to Berlin, Prague and Paris in 1922 and found her missing husband again. Tsvetaeva was shunned by the Russian exile community in Paris. She was no longer published after she declared that Mayakovsky was the poet of the future. They were worlds apart but she recognized his originality, his own tone and his radicalism. In 1939 Tsvetaeva returned to the Soviet Union. But the return home was full of horror. All doors were closed. The wild, backward-looking poet is seen as an obstacle to building socialism. Her husband was executed and her oldest surviving daughter was sent to a labor camp. When the German army invaded the USSR, Tsvetaeva and her son were evacuated to Yelabuga. That was one stroke of fate too many. Shortly afterwards, on August 31, 1941, she desperately ended her life and hanged herself. Her grave is still unknown today. Three years later, her son died as a soldier in 1944. She left behind an extensive body of poetry, lyric dramas and prose works. (www) * Brandon Stone (stage name), *1980 in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, lyricist and arranger. Brandon is also a professional jazz pianist and a top-notch producer. His musical life began at the age of 3 with piano lessons. In 1997 he began studying jazz pianism at the music academy 'Hans Eisler' in Berlin/ Germany (he lived there with his parents). After twenty years in Germany and a few years in the USA, he now lives in Russia with his wife and two children. Brandon Stone prefers an interesting mix of styles both as a composer and as a singer (jazz/soul/pop). His melodic songs as well as high technique, emotional intensity and honesty of performance, his wonderful voice (3.5 octaves) and charm helped Brandon Stone to become popular in many European countries, America and Commonwealth of Independent States. He sings in Russian, English, German, Spanish, French, Hebrew and Georgian. Stones song “Magic Cristmas” became the #1 Christmas hit in Spain in 2002 (age 22): kzbin.info/www/bejne/laW7c6pjpLWgp68 and even overtook the song Robbie Williams. In 2005, Igor Krutoy personally asked Stone to compose and produce for the New Wave. He did it from 2005-2010. Stone has already composed ca. 800 songs and sold around 2,000,000 records, mostly as a composer or lyricist, mainly in the former CIS countries. In Georgia (Europe) he is revered as a singer and artist, as a folk hero. Stone has received many important national and international awards and prizes. In 2018-2020 he was nominated for the Victoria Prize (Similar to the Grammy. Dimash and Krutoy won the 2019 Victoria Prize). Since 2019, Brandon Stone has worked extensively with Diana. Diana's first CD of songs composed and produced by Stone, released Dec 2021, was certified Gold in June 2022. (www) * Brandon Stone’s channel: - kzbin.info/door/5UizewwhiJueG52uHx1uVg

Interpretation of Diana and Brandon’s song “In a Huge City”: The great Russian poetess Marina Tsvetaeva gave birth (not “wrote”!) poems with a quality of meaning inseparable from the sound of her words in Russian. It is IMPOSSIBLE to understand the meaning of these poems, or rather, these sounds without perceiving their Russian sound (try translating Kipling, or Byron, or Shakespeare into Russian, and then back into English! Try it!). This is exactly what Diana and Brandon are doing in this song - the correspondence of meaning and sounds. This cannot be explained in words: how to add up the sum of meanings and the sound of speech??!! This can only be heard by the soul. To hear, repeated many times, a combination of melody, words and sounds of instruments, the main one of which is Diana’s voice - the most complex of them all. Hence the advice - reproduce in yourself the images given by Marina (night, wind, black poplar, light from the window, ringing from the tower, “And this is the shadow, but not me”, “Friends, understand that you are dreaming of me”) ...and listen, listen, listen to the voice(s) of Diana singing this... And you will enter the door of This universe - through the beauty paved by Diana and Brandon. This song is about insomnia and loneliness.
