Actually, Rodgers and Hammerstein wrote the musical back in 1957 and it aired on TV starring Julie Andrews as Cinderella. It aired again in 1965 with Leslie Ann Warren playing the part, and only later, in 1997, did it star Brandy. So they didn't steal the song. It goes waaaaay back.

Not trying to generalize, but a lot of Japanese (idols/singers) have been high or sweet voices. It sounds nice in this song. :] I've heard of them but I didn't know Morning Musume could actually sing!!! Takashi Ai-san's has a nice voice.

I hate to be a troll, but I find it amusing how many people "need the lyrics to the song because they 'have' to sing it" for something. Is the distinction necessary?
