Lucky enough to be old enough to seeing The Triffids live back in the 80's. Growing up with these soundtracks from teen to adult. RIP Dave.

"The rim of her mouth was golden...her eyes were just desert sands, but that's not her...it's just the light..." Incredible lyrics -- "Trick of the Light." Superb work of David McComb and recording with The Triffids. Many don't know this song but for me and some other people, it's a classic. Nice work by these fine musicians.

I shed a tear for David "Bury me deep in love". One of the greatest pop songs of our time.

@@apostolosannis198 the only guy left is a dude on piano, i believe you can hear his name in the beginning of the video, but i can't do it right because of Simon's accent. Lads i didn't mentioned before are Robert McComb on guitar and Martyn Casey on bass.

I'm very late to this, but I was lucky enough to see The Friends of David McComb at The Adelaide Fringe, one of the most amazing shows I've experienced, no doubt heightened by the fact it was the last live show I've seen since shut down. Cannot recommend Truckload of Sky (by the friends of David McComb) album enough. It's perfection. Do yourself a favour, check it out

I saw the TRIFFIDS once live in Ghent (Oost-Vlaanderen, Belgium). One of the most memorable concerts ever. It was at the time of BORN SANDY DEVOTIONAL!
