Great ideas. I have a 4 row spring tooth harrow that I built from scratch that I use for blind cultivation. I used 3" square tube and angle iron then put pneumatic gauge wheels on it. I put three rows of tines on it just like all the old timey ones that everybody had in SC back in the days before preemergent herbicide. I bought the tines at Agrisupply for something like $2 or $3 apiece. I would love to have one of the Einebock spring tooth harrows but they are way out of my price range. Please keep posting videos they are very interesting I am organic certified field crop farmer and good resources and information is hard to come by.

Thank you. I like the shape of the einbock tines. I found a source in England that will export them. I have also found these people manatmachine.com/products/tined-harrow/ . I think that the Treffler harrow is most likely a better machine, BUT, I am sure the cost would be prohibitive! Thus, I am attempting to engineer something.

Great idea Jack, look forward to seeing it in action

Be patient Andy...several details and probably won't get the einbock tines done this year. At the Indiana conference I saw a machine that inspired me...danish tine with a pair or rotary hoe spiders on top of the row WITH variable down pressure on the spiders. Apparently other people are thinking along the same lines.

Actually wondered about rotary hoe tines myself

May go that route as well...gotta run the spikes first and get all the settings right, THEN tines or spiders?????

Conference went really well. Indiana is lucky to have some really good people (Purdue Extension) working on expanding organic production. I might have went little strong on my presentation...but I think it was decently received. I met two young IN producers who inspired me and answered a lot of questions for others who are undertaking the transition.

Geiger Farm glad to hear that! I really wanted to be there to experience the conference and have a chance at meeting you in person, but it is what it is. Maybe next year! Really hoping to see growth on the organic grain outlets to improve marketing options in the state of Indiana, from the research of done to this point there’s not a lot. At least not in the n/e corner where I am located. Thanks for tip on your search template!

Good day Interesting, I think way to much spray is used. It's not healthy, & it's not cheap. Anyways Thanks for now. It looks like your gravel was dry,& no frost. We are getting slowly
