Brilliant!!! You’re doing something that more anglers should consider: unhooking in the water. Far kinder for the pike. I would get some drop off indicators though 😉. Well done on a super pike!

cheers! definitely kinder on the fish. I now trie and unhook all the fish i catch in the water. Drop arm indicators have been purchased and are now in use!!

well done on your first 20+, pleased for u, well handled, my only advice would be to fish with drop off indicators aswell as alarms, that way you u get notification of interest as soon as the pike picks up your bait, and less chance of deep hooking, great effort though, subscribed, 👍👍👍

Drop off indicators are not necessary if you are using the correct rig. When the fish picks up the bait the alarm will sound if the fish travels in any direction.
