Good on you James Morgan. For the work you undertook to remind the football world of the genius that Alan Gilzean was. Bob Shankleys Dundee F.C. team we’re one of the great footballing sides of the 60’s era without a shadow of a doubt and full of talented players. I was fortunate enough to witness them playing on a few occasions and I used to have all the teams autographs, courtesy of Alex Hamilton, what a gem he was, a wonderful generous character. God bless them all. It was a privilege to witness 60’s football, a “Golden Age” for the Scottish game in particular. The game now?! I would sum it up in this manner, “ Death by Analysis”.

I am reading the book at the moment. Many memories of the great man. Gillie had such a wonderful touch, on the floor and in the air. Alan Gilzean, thank you for the memories, and James Morgan thanks for the book.
