I love learning about productions that, more often than not, don't have an IMDB page. There's always a little bit of mystery when discovering something like this.

Gotta say, I cracked up at “Can he make people like me?” I’ve been asking that for a while now.

This is the first video I saw on your channel, and the one I have revisited the most. Rewatch value is certainly there! :)

Random question, but does anyone know what that toy the racist boss is playing with at 11:55 is? The way he bends and twists it makes it look really satisfying to play with and I want my own now.

I'm more surprised no one mentioned the puppet dog wearing glasses.

I watched this entire video multiple times when I was a kid because both of my parents are in it. My dad is the cookie-giver at the potluck and my mom is the woman with the broken arm in the hospital.

This feels so vaguely familiar. I think maybe they showed it on CBN, ETWN (or was it EWTN?) or TBN. I definitely remember Old Kid from my childhood.

the aesthetic of christian 16mm puppet films on VHS is just... dream like.

10:00 Psst…hey Fozzie… stay perfectly still. Maybe they’ll leave without noticing you. It’s your only chance to get away.

CW: childhood trauma/ violence I totally identify with this guy 14:30 as a quarter Asian, babyfaced homeschool in high school, I was in confrontations just like this but significantly more violent ones on a pretty regular basis. This was in a state where most people were white and I was one of the few to have a slightly different skin. One time I was stabbed in the stomach with a compass during wood shop and later by having a hard plastic comb dragged across my throat during an assembly.

I'm not aware of any sweat sock poetry, but I do know a puppet emo band called Fragile Rock that has a song called "Socks are Murder." They sing it during their old Tiny Desk Concert video and it goes without saying that it's way better than this terrible VHS tape.

EDIT: HOW IS CALLING SOMEONE A HOCKEY PUCK AN INSULT?? 8:16 early 2010s teenage hipsters 10:30 AND speaking of mentioning better things in their videos. Why did they throw a Motley Crew reference in there?

This is the "Citizen Kane" of low budget, denomimationally questionable christian "children's" straight to VHS tapes
