Some nice Kob there I'm glad you didn't edit out the seasick part makes it more natural and true to life what works for me is one travel sickness pill the night before and one travel sickness pill first thing in the morning I'm not saying this will work for everyone but for me it works a charm Down here on the south coast of kzn you can hardly land a fish without the tax man taking all but the head. Those boat Motors are like a dinner Bell and don't think you can pack up and go somewhere else, they follow you until you stop. They are monsters!!! one chowed my 16 kg Tuna in one bite and left me with the head You certainly seem to get around! keep the videos coming Tight lines!!!

Thanks! Yes some nice kobs, next time will definitely be taking some meds before going out! Luckily for us the tax man wasn’t on duty that day🤣🤣 but last time in moz he was in the prowl! Thanks for your support!

To prevent sea sickness keep the stomach happy by eating little bits of biltong as you fish.

That's looks like so much fun. Those reels are badass! How much line will fit on a reel like that I wonder.
@ThisisAfricaOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
They are really cool! Can fit tons of line!

Can U take me out deep sea I really love fishing and I got my own deep sea rod and reel and I haven't been able to use it yet fishing is like my whole life and I live close to the harbour 🐟🎣

The fastest cure for seasick at sea is to juno in the water between the motors, your balance senses between ears will reset in a minute or 2

Scarborough reel. What a murderous contraption on the operating end. Also "Skaap rib" Sheeps rib. In Afrikaans.

Great video the sea sick got me laughing I always tell guys to eat canned sardines for breakfast so if they do throw up it's good chum. The octopus was your best bait next time remove a leg before you throw it back.
@ThisisAfricaOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Haha the sardines is an excellent idea! 🤣🤣 yes I’ve heard octopus is great bait!

When catching a decent size fish on a scarborough, the fishing is real. No clutches or brakes or gear multiply'ers. Hard work but great fun.
