In-Season Nutrient Management for Corn

Nutrients are critical for a successful growing season. Ron Joiner, Pioneer Field Agronomist, talks in-season nutrient management and the importance of urea on corn. One of the most challenging aspects of successfully managing nitrogen is the fact that nitrogen from fertilizer can be lost from the soil before the corn crop is able to take it up. Urea is a solid fertilizer with high nitrogen content (46%) that can be easily applied to many types of crops and turf.
