Loved both Til Death us do part and In sickness and in health. The writing and acting were superb. It had a brilliant cast. Warren Mitchell was so funny as Alf Garnett was so funny. What he complained about was spot on.

@@fergusallan7187 Fergus. I take your point about racism, homephobia, sexism etc. The writer introduced a black gay home help called Winston who gave back to Alf Garnett as good as he got. Winston would call Alf bwana and some times kiss Alf on the head. This was when situation comedy was comedy. It just would not be made now. Alf Garnett was a Conservative voter but Warren Mitchell was actually a socialist Labour supporter.

I’ve just come from watching an episode of TILL DEATH US DO PART and just have to say you have just got to love the British comedy. This till death us + only fools to monty python. You can only see why our country starts as great just coming of winning a war and we end up making SO Many classics sitcoms it’s just brilliant just pure comedy gold.
