Sali, I really, really enjoyed this interview. And don't apologise for getting 'so deep', it was wonderful to see two intelligent people bridge beauty, history and social life because when you scratch the surface, that is what beauty is. Thank you.

The depth, sincerity, intelligence, compassion and bravery in this conversation between two people is one for the record books. Sali... you did yourself and your audience a good deed by sticking with it and getting this BOSS Woman on your show. She gave us not only things to think about, but to reflect on and ask of ourselves and the society we live in no matter where we are in the world at the moment. Thank you very, very much for this piece and to Sharmadean who didn't stumble or feel the need to apologize for her views or beliefs. More power to you sister.

Sali, once again, I revere you as a journalist already but you are reaching high levels. Soothing my soul as a black woman and educating me as a human being. Thank you, what more can I say. I'd wait years for a new video on this channel, it's so good. #neverunsubscribing

Ooo how about a spin off - In The Office With... for all the business / entrepreneur / work life balance recommendations picked up? I don't wanna hear about how an oxbridge PPE-er got their internship, I wanna hear about projects and about how to create a start up and balancing that with Living Wage rates for all staff x

Sally, this was TRULY one of your very best interviews. Thank you for this. If possible, please do more that highlight the intersections and roots of culture and history of current beauty trends, or that focus on beauty as self and cultural expression or the restraints on the industry imposed by the dominant gender, race, and class.

That was so good. I could sit here with you for hours. I related with so many of the things that were said in this video. The problem with the "women's single story" will be changed by interviews like this. Different women speaking about their passions and knowledge. Tired of always seeing the "same women" represented in the media. Really loved this.

Wake up, and it’s past 2am. I’m sure there’s nothing too interesting on KZbin, so I’ll take a peek and fall asleep. Darn it! It’s now after 3am! This was so interesting! So deep! Now, my head is buzzing! I’d never heard of this guest before, but she’s fascinating! So many concepts that I identify with as a multiracial African-American.
@contrarymary76385 жыл бұрын
I have never heard of her before either. Cant believe that. You say multi racial she said mixed race and l say dual heritage all the same thing. Cant you imagine a world where all bosses were like hear. What a healthier happier society l bet sick days and back ache would reduce significantly. A boss respecting and valuing their employers is just as important as the salary
