I believe something had to have happened between Gen. 1:1 and 1:2 also. I believe saton fell like lightning too. Can you imagine him hitting the ground like lightning?! With all his rebel angels? That seems like it would shake the earth off it's axis. It definitely would cause chaos in the weather. Love this preacher. Makes me use my imagination and think! God bless 🙏

The analogy of the carpenter building (making) the chair from created wood highlights the possibility that the account of Genesis is literal. He created the heavens and earth. Set aside space and created the atoms, elements, and molecules. From the created items, He formed (made) individual elements of the earth and heavens. As in how a tree is turned into lumber, then lumber into a chair, God turned the matter of the heavens into the sun, moon, and stars. He also took the contents of the earth and sculpted them to form the atmosphere (heaven) and dry land.

I love listening to you Pastor Ollison. I'm with you all the way about the time before Adam and Eve. But my question is, when God cast the devil and 1/3 of the angels out of Heaven.....where did they go? Did they hit the Earth causing a dark and frozen wasteland where they stayed until God recreated the Earth? Did they stop short of hitting Earth and stay at the heaven in our atmosphere? Do we know? Thank you.

I believe God made the earth and it was true north on its axis and the earth was like a big green house with the water layer above the earth. After Noah's flood in order to reseed the waters, God tilted the earth on its axis and the waters were drawn up to the North & South pole.
