Cannot stop listen to this song. Want to hear the song over and over again. May we all heal and get whole again in our Lord Jesus Christ.

I listen to the slavonic version of this every nativity. This english version does the heart and soul of the hymn perfect. Not an easy feat! Also to all those reading this on the Julian calendar CHRIST IS BORN!

I have heard the original done in Orthodox churches, a gorgeous tune with the perfect feeling I associate with Christmastime. Glad to hear it rendered in my language, although I have seen translations of it.

This is so beautiful and I fell in love with t the first time I heard it a few years back. I'm so glad you did this version in English. I wonder if you have any info on a source for the written music? I would love to learn it for future Christmas seasons. :)

I heard the Russian orthodox church doing this a few years ago too. I don't know what they're saying, but I felt it was good. Glad to have the English version now.

Google "в темную нічку ноты", this will yield sheet music. I can't share a link directly because KZbin might block a comment with links.

Yes the Ukrainian version is amazing. I do like hearing it in English and I wish it was in Greek as well
@justforever96Ай бұрын
I prefer that, it's the way it was meant to sound. But I don't understand Ukrainian, so I'm glad they made this as well. Doesn't detract anything from the original, it just supplements it.
